Panelists: Lord Ramirez (M)
For many the success of Fifty Shades of Grey is a mystery, both to writers and those who actually participate in BDSM. Both sides have a vested interest in seeing it portrayed or at the very least written better. Ramirez has been active in the BDSM community for over twenty years and teaches BDSM classes and workshops all over the United States. He will give you a fascinating inside tour of BDSM. From its culture, to its popularity, and the age old question "Why do people do it?" In between demonstration and discussion, he and his partner will answer your questions about domination and submission, sadism and masochism, leather, and everything in between. You well even get the chance to see the tools of the trade up close. Ever wonder what a whip or flogger was actually like? Did you want to put one in your hand? Here is your chance to understand that world on a much more personal level, to enhance your writing, or just your understanding of a very misunderstood world.
