| Capclave will be publishing a chapbook with two new 10,000 word stories by
Howard Waldrop, written around original art by Carol Emshwiller, which will
only be available as a gift to our members. Copies will not be sold by WSFA
after the convention.
But wait! There's more! Also, anyone who books two or more nights in the
Hilton may choose one of these two past WSFA Press books:
Lewis Shiner's THE EDGES OF THINGS. Please tell us if you book your room using Hilton reward points or another special deal -- your room can still be counted as part of our block.) |
Where's Waldrop? Despite long delays, pessimistic forecasts, and not a few grumbles, the Howard Waldrop Chapbook has been shipped! Some thought it couldn't be done. Some thought it wouldn't be done. But we've proven them wrong. Following several long and tiring weeks of assembly, a weekend of envelope stuffing and trips to the post office, the chapbook has left our hands and should soon be in yours. Please give three cheers for the dedicated crew that never said die. (In the meantime, here's the beautiful cover by artist Carol Emshwiller) Cover Illustration: copyright Carol Emshwiller |
